My goal is to drastically improve my Kendo skills in martial arts and self-defense within 6 months by attending Kendo classes twice a week for 1 hour, and carrying out additional practice sessions at home for 2 hours a week. I will watch and implement techniques from instructional videos and attend competitions to test my skills and become more experienced in the sport. I will also strive to rank up my belt from beginner to intermediate to further my development in the sport.

My goal for Sledding in Snow / Winter Activities under Physical recreation Category is to improve my sledding skills by competing in at least one sledding competition or winter event within 12 months. I will attend sledding class twice a week for 1 hour and I will practice at home for an additional two hours per week. I will also take the necessary safety precautions to minimize the possibility of injury. I will utilize the resources at my disposal to be well-informed about the newest methods and strategies to further develop my sledding skills.

Goal: To improve my squash skills by participating in at least one squash tournament or performance within 6 months. I will attend squash class twice a week for 1 hour and practice at home for an additional 2 hour per week. I will also focus on my diet and nutrition to ensure I am performing at my peak. By the end of 6 months, I aim to be a proficient squash player and compete in a tournament alongside other enthusiastic squash players.

My goal is to improve my debating abilities in Communication by participating in at least one debate competition or discussion within 3 months. I will attend a debating class twice a week for 1 hour and practice at home for an additional 2 hours per week. I will focus on learning the techniques of logical argumentation and utilizing active listening to ensure effective communication during the debates. The goal will be to enhance my overall debating skills and build confidence when debating in front of others.

My goal is to increase my flexibility and core strength by participating in Pilates classes twice a week for one hour, and by practising at home for an additional two hours per week, over the next 3 months. I will be able to measure this through an increased range of motion, increased stamina and improved posture. I will monitor my progress by booking an assessment with a certified Pilates instructor after the first 6 weeks and again after the 12 weeks, to ensure that I am meeting my goals.

My goal for Rock Climbing in Outdoor Recreation under Physical Recreation is to reach an Advanced Climbing skill level within 12 months. To achieve this, I will climb outdoors at least twice a week for 1-2 hours for the duration of 12 months, with my climbing gym visits increasing to 3 times per week including practising on their bouldering walls. I will also watch YouTube tutorials and attend seminars and workshops related to climbing outside of my gym visits in order to develop my technical skill level and safety knowledge surrounding rock climbing.

My goal for Art/ Architecture Appreciation in Arts and Design under Skills Category is to deepen my understanding of art and architecture by researching and analyzing two pieces of art or architecture from different periods for 12 months. I will visit a local museum, gallery or cultural center to view the works and will research the artworks or structures from different eras and their stylistic influences. Additionally, I will create two written pieces that explain how the art or structures reflect their historical and cultural contexts. Finally, I will attend an art or architecture lecture and discuss the pieces with an art/architecture expert.

Goal for Boxing in Martial Arts/Self Defence based around Physical Recreation for teenagers aged 14-18 years old and to be achieved within 3 months; To improve my fundamental boxing skills within 3 months and achieve a satisfactory boxing technique score during a formal assessment. I will attend formal boxing lessons twice a week for 1 hour and will practice basic boxing skills at home for an additional 1 hour per week. I will also create a boxing training schedule and will track my progress regularly. At the end of the 3 month period, I will strive to reach a boxing technique score of 70% on the formal assessment.
