My SMART goal for the next year is to engage in weekly exercise and swimming practice with the intention of achieving a new personal best time in the 400m freestyle event. Specifically, I will dedicate a set time each week to training in the pool, focusing on building endurance, improving technique, and increasing speed. By consistently committing to these training sessions and tracking my progress, I aim to attain a faster time in the 400m freestyle by the end of the year, reflecting my enhanced fitness and swimming abilities.

My goal in Table Tennis under Physical recreation is to improve my overall Table Tennis skills by participating in at least one Table Tennis competition or performance within 6 months. My goal is to compete against other Table Tennis enthusiasts and to improve my overall performance and technical skills. I will attend Table Tennis class twice a week for 1 hour and will practice at home for an additional 2 hour per week. I will also find an experienced Table Tennis mentor so I can reach my goal faster and better.

To improve my Shot Put skills by participating in at least one Shot Put competition or performance within 6 months. My goal is to compete against other Shot Put enthusiasts and to improve my overall performance and technical skills. I will attend Shot Put class twice a week for 1 hour and will practice at home for an additional 2 hours per week. Additionally, I will read sports magazines related to Shot Put and watch videos of Shot Put champions to understand and analyze the techniques they use.

My goal for Snowboarding in Snow/Winter Activities for Physical Recreation is to learn the fundamentals of snowboarding, perfect my snowboarding skills, and become proficient in alpine snowboarding within 6 months. To accomplish this I will attend snowboarding lessons 3x per week for 1 hour and practice on my own for an additional 1 hour per week. I will track my progress and record any mistakes I make so that I can review these areas for improvement. I will also attend a snowboarding competition at the end of the 6 month period in order to assess my snowboarding skills.

My goal is to become a certified scuba diver by completing a diving certification program within 3 months. I will join a scuba diving class for 1 to 2 hours per week and practice at home for an additional hour. I will study the safety regulations and dive behaviors thoroughly in order to become an expert scuba diver within 3 months. In addition, I will participate in at least two diving trips to further hone my skills while learning more about underwater life.

My goal for Fencing in Martial Arts / Self Defense under Physical recreation is to improve my technique and reaction speed so that I can successfully defend against an opponent within 3 months. I will attend Fencing classes twice per week for 1 hour and will practice on my own for an additional 2 hours per week. I will use these practice sessions to focus on developing my footwork in addition to strengthening my defensive and offensive techniques. I will also challenge myself to successfully perform various techniques against static and moving targets.

My goal for Water Skiing in Water Sports under Physical recreation is to develop and expand upon my overall Water Skiing skills by competing in at least one regional Water Skiing event within the next 12 months. I will attend an intermediate Water Skiing class at least twice a week for one hour and practice the skills learned at home for an additional two hours per week. I will participate in regular Water Skiing drills and competitions to further improve my technique, strength, speed and agility on the water. By the end of the 12 months I will strive to demonstrate improved performance, which will be measured by my rankings in regional competitions.

My goal for Keep Fit in Gym / Personal Programs under Physical recreation for teenagers 14-18 years old is to improve my overall physical fitness level by participating in one Keep Fit class each week for 12 months. I will track and measure my progress by tracking my time for different activities and will aim to increase my overall amount of time spent working out over the 12 months. I will consistently strive to improve the intensity and difficulty of my workouts to ensure a higher level of fitness by the end of the twelve months.
