Goal for Numeracy in Education under Voluntary Service Category: To improve numerical skills of teenagers aged 14-18 years old by teaching them foundational and advanced mathematical skills with a focus on developing useful every day applications in a period of 3 months. I will volunteer my time as a numeracy tutor and will set realistic objectives for the students to achieve which must be evaluated and reported on a monthly basis.

My goal as part of Voluntary Service to Other People is to volunteer with a local charity organization at least 10 hours a month for the next 3 months, to assist those in need in my local community. I will use my skills and resources to help those in need by creating social media campaigns and other online resources to spread awareness about the organization. I will also assist with in-person tasks such as passing out flyers or organizing events for the charity organization. Finally, I will use my communication skills to work with other volunteers and staff members to ensure successful execution of volunteer activities.

Goal: Within the next three months, I will increase my knowledge of Surf Life Saving’s Emergency Voluntary Services by attending relevant seminars, acquiring appropriate certifications and/or completing an internship within the organization. I will dedicate at least 4 hours per week to researching and/or completing tasks related to the services. By the end of the period, I will have a comprehensive understanding of the components of Surf Life Saving’s Emergency Voluntary Services and will be better equipped to provide assistance.

Goal for Other in Emergency Voluntary Services under Voluntary Service Category for Teenagers 14-18 Years Old: To gain knowledge, skills and experience in emergency response and management within 12 months by volunteering at least 30 hours per month with an Emergency Voluntary Services organization and completing a first aid course. I will seek out and attend an accredited first aid course and contact local Emergency Voluntary Services organizations to arrange volunteer placements. I will keep track of my volunteer hours and document any experiences from the training and volunteer placements, as well as any feedback from supervisors to help me assess my development in emergency response and management skills.

I will also meet with my trainer once a month to discuss my progress and goals. 1. To increase Czech/Romanian/Slovakian language fluency among teenagers 14-18 years old in voluntary service by completing a full course of fluency within 3 months. I will attend a course twice a week for 2 hours and will practice an additional hour per day, both with native speakers and on my own. Additionally, I will participate in an international project or cultural exchange to further put these skills into practice. 2. To provide volunteer services to other people using Romanian/Slovakian/Czech language within 6 months. I will develop, promote and coordinate a volunteering service project that is available to people from different cultural backgrounds. I will work with the library, the local education department and the civic organization to reach out to those who need assistance of a volunteer, and shall research and collect data from each individual in order to interpret their needs.

My goal for Yearbook in Media under Voluntary Service Category is to create a comprehensive yearbook within a period of 6 months with the help of a team of around 10 teenagers 14-18 years old. I will develop a plan of action for the yearbook and discuss it with the team to make sure we are all in sync to create a unique and meaningful yearbook. We will develop content for the yearbook, including photos, stories and activities based on the kids’ lives. Additionally, we will be utilizing the school’s media center and other resources to design and produce the yearbook. Finally, I will ensure that the yearbook is printed and distributed to all members of the team and the school community in a timely manner.

Goal for Help and Befriend elderly in Voluntary Service to Other People under Voluntary Service Category, for teenagers aged 14-18 years old: Within 3 months, I will establish a regular volunteering program with an elderly care organization and commit to at least 3 hours a week. I will develop an empathy-building program, incorporating speaking with and listening to elderly people and playing games that help to keep their mind sharp. By the end of the 3 months, I will report back on my experiences and create a presentation to share with my classmates, detailing the importance of being a good listener and how my volunteering experience has made a difference to an elderly person’s life.

Goal (for Ukrainian Buddy): To become more proficient in Ukrainian language by signing up for local Ukrainian language classes and/or finding a language partner to practice with, within 6 months. I will practice speaking and writing in Ukrainian for 3 hours every week and complete a beginner’s level course by the end of my 6-month-goal. Additionally, I will look for online resources on Ukrainian culture and attend any cultural activities available in my region.

Goal: To increase environmentally-conscious behavior in teenagers 14-18 years old by promoting proper waste disposal practices within three months, by giving an educational lesson on waste disposal at least once per week and providing them with a reusable shopping bag program. I will measure my progress by tracking the number of participants who attend each lesson and the number of reusable shopping bags distributed. Finally, I will assess the progress by conducting surveys to measure the knowledge of each participant and to track the frequency of waste disposal practices.

My goal for Teaching Assistance in Education under Voluntary Service is to become a certified volunteer teaching assistant in a classroom of teenagers aged 14-18 within 3 months. I will complete a 20-hour initial training program related to teaching assistance and will actively volunteer in a classroom for at least 1 hour a week to gain expertise in this field. I will also attend an additional continuing education training program related to teaching assistance within 3 months of volunteering to stay up-to-date with teaching methods and gain additional insight on how to effectively work with teenagers.

Goal for Other in Education under Voluntary Service Category: To develop my competency in volunteer service by working at a local community organization or charity at least once a week for 6 months. My goal is to gain insight into the vital work being done in my community and increase my understanding of how volunteer service can help affect positive change. I will read up on best practices in volunteerism and will attend seminars, if available, to learn more about the importance of volunteerism. Additionally, I will devote 4 hours a week to be actively involved in evaluation, execution and coordination of the volunteer activities.

For Mentoring in Education under Voluntary Service Category, my Goal is to help at least 10 teenagers 14-18 years old improve their academic performance within 12 months. I will accomplish this goal by teaching study skills, providing educational resources, and mentor them to ensure academic success. I will commit to at least 5 hours of mentoring a week, either in person or virtually through various social media platforms. I will also document the progress of each mentee and assess their progress every two months.

Goal for Other in Health under Voluntary Service Category for teenagers 14-18 years old to be completed within 12 months: To volunteer in a health-related project for at least 10 hours a month for the duration of 12 months. I will select a project such as volunteering in a local hospital or for a community health center and will sign up for duties such as providing companionship to elderly people, taking care of a sick person or participating in community health education and awareness activities. I will use available resources to inform myself about the project and will contact the organization every month to check availability of volunteering opportunities. I will allocate 8 hours per month to volunteer in the project and 2 hours to research or prepare necessary materials.

Voluntary Service, Health, Develop and volunteer first aid skills

Within 3 months, I will join a local group for Body Attack enthusiasts and will participate in a weekly meeting for practice and feedback on my performance. I will strive to improve my performance and skills in each training session and will measure my progress by completing a skills evaluation every 6 months. My goal is to develop and volunteer my first aid skills in Health under the Voluntary Services Category, while catering to teenagers 14-18 years old, within 12 months. I will attend a certified first aid class two times a week for 1 hour and practice administering basic first aid at home for an additional 2 hours per week. Within 3 months I will join a local group for volunteering and first aid enthusiasts and participate in weekly meetings for demonstrations and feedback on my performance. Furthermore, I will aim to improve my first aid abilities like administration of CPR or use of a defibrillator, in each practice session and will measure my progress by completing a skills evaluation every 6 months.

Goal: To develop Leadership skills among teenagers aged 14-18 through a voluntary service program in a 3-month period. I will engage in at least 4 volunteer activities per month, including teaching workshops, providing mentorship and feedback to a team of 15 teenagers, and organizing team-building activities to promote collaboration, respect and effective communication. I will complete assignments to hone my leadership skills and attend monthly meetings with the program leader to discuss progress, goals and further development of the program.

Additionally, I will commit to a healthy and balanced diet for this period. My goal for Wildlife Rescue in Animal Welfare under Voluntary Service Category, for teenagers 14-18 years old, is to successfully complete 5 wildlife rescue and rehabilitation missions, with a minimum of 6 hours per mission, within 3 months. During this period, I will learn and demonstrate best practices in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, while adhering to safety protocols, undergoing training and shadowing experienced professionals. Additionally, I will commit to fundraising projects and volunteer activities to support wildlife rescue and rehabilitation operations.

Animal Welfare, Walking Dog of Elderly / Disabled Person, Voluntary Service

Goal: To facilitate education and volunteer opportunities for at least 15 teenagers aged 14-18 years old at Hospice Trade Aid in Charity under Voluntary Service Category within 6 months. I will achieve this goal by promoting this program to local schools, churches and community groups and increasing awareness about Hospice Trade Aid so that more teenagers volunteer in the program. Additionally, I will work closely with teenagers already engaged in the program and encourage them to participate in fundraising events and volunteer activities to benefit the charity. I will monitor the progress of this program and review it after 6 months to evaluate the impact of the volunteer opportunities.

Goal for Aide Elderly / Retired in Health under Voluntary Service Category for teenagers aged 14-18: To aid at least 10 elderly/ retired individuals in health-related volunteers activities within 3 months by dedicating 3 hour of my time per week. My goal is to learn and receive recognition for my services while building relationships with the elderly/ retired people in my community. I will contact at least 5 local retirement centers to identify volunteer activities that I can get involved in. I will also contact 2 healthcare facilities to find other volunteer activities where I can apply my skills and knowledge. I will record my progress in a volunteer log to keep track of my tasks and accomplishments.

Goal for Other in Environmental under Voluntary Service Category: To reduce the environmental impact of my local community by leading a community clean-up event within 3 months. I will plan and execute the event, which will include finding and obtaining supplies and volunteers, writing press releases and other communication, organizing, and making sure the event runs smoothly. In addition, I will create resources to educate community members about the need for and importance of reducing our environmental impacts and encourage them to live a more sustainable lifestyle. I will analyze the success of the event and track how much litter was collected and how much waste was recycled.

My goal is to increase tree planting and maintenance in the environment by involving teenagers aged 14-18 years old in a sustainable tree planting project for a period of 3 months. To ensure that teenage participants have access to proper guidance and instruction, I will create a training program for them on tree planting and maintenance. I will also arrange regular meet-ups with the teenagers to monitor their progress and provide support. Once the 3-month period is complete, I will measure the overall impact of the project by assessing the number of trees planted, as well as their ability to survive and thrive in their local environment. I will also measure the level of satisfaction among the participants in order to determine the effectiveness of the project.

Goal for Other in Leadership under Voluntary Service Category for teenagers 14-18 years old, to be completed within 3 months: I will acquire a leadership role in an existing voluntary service organization by the end of 3 months. I will research organizations, identify a leadership role that interests me, and reach out to organization contacts to understand the requirements to secure the role. I will attend a minimum of one organizational meeting and activity each week in order to gain an understanding of the organization and the leadership roles available. I will develop a plan for how I will use my leadership skills to benefit the organization, and present it to the organization’s governing body, thereby securing a leadership position.

Goal for Conservation Projects in Environmental under Voluntary Service Category: To be educated on what it takes to protect the environment and to have a positive impact on local surroundings within 3 months. I will actively participate in at least 3 different conservation projects to better understand the needs and initiatives being taken toward conservation. I will dedicate 6 hours each week to research, volunteer activities, and community-level projects that help protect the environment. I will measure my success by tracking the positive changes in my local environment and by having a better understanding of conservation projects at the end of the 3-month period.

Goal for Office Assistance for charity in Charity under Voluntary Service Category: Within 12 months, I will increase my Office Assistance knowledge and skills by participating in at least 2 charity volunteering events, involving 10 volunteer hours per month. I will attend Online training courses related to Office Assistance, to not only learn the necessary procedures and applications, but also apply this knowledge to charity volunteering events. Aiming to improve my time management skill, I will practice setting deadlines and meeting expectations within the Office Assistance environment.

Goal: By December 2021, to increase the engagement of teenagers 14-18 years old in voluntary service activities within our youth organization by providing a minimum of two extracurricular clubs per month, and a minimum of six service opportunities per year available to the community. To successfully reach this goal, I will commit to preparing and delivering weekly club lesson plans and engaging our members in service projects and activities, allowing them to be part of our organization’s growth, showcasing their skills and talents, and improving their communication, team-building, and leadership abilities. I will also work to develop, promote and manage our volunteer opportunities by creating and executing a comprehensive communications plan for our current and prospective members.

Goal: To increase the teen listenership of our Radio Station media by 8% within 12 months through engagement and promotional activities targeting teenagers aged 14-18. I will implement a marketing strategy to reach out to potential listeners through social media, word of mouth, and other forms of traditional media in order to raise awareness about the Radio Station. Additionally, I will conduct monthly focus groups with teenagers aged 14-18 to listen to their feedback and identify new and innovative ways to engage with them. Finally, I will create weekly programs specifically catered to the target audience to ensure they will come back each week and develop an affinity with the Radio Station.

My goal for Fundraising for a Charity, School or Group under the Voluntary Service category is to raise $1,500 within 3 months. I will engage teenagers aged 14-18 years old to take part in volunteer-led initiatives to help gather necessary funds, as well as promote these activities in the community. I will also reach out every week via email, social media, and posters to help spread awareness about the charity’s fundraising goals, and encourage young people to contribute in any way that they can. To ensure successful completion of the task, I will set up weekly fundraising targets, measure and review the progress of our team’s success, and make necessary changes as needed.

My Goal for Website in Media under Voluntary Service Category is to create and launch a fully functioning website within 3 months that supports local teenage charities and organizations in my community. I will collaborate with a local website designer to develop the content for the website and familiarize myself with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript coding skills necessary for website design. Additionally, I will research 15-20 local charities and organizations to determine which ones should be featured on the website. Finally, I will work with a website hosting service and launch the website within 3 months.

My goal for Tutoring in Education under the voluntary service category is to become a tutor and mentor to ten disadvantaged high school students, aged 14-18, within the next 6 months by attending after-school tutoring classes three days a week. Throughout my time as a tutor, I will work to support the academic curricula of the school, as well as to help the students gain new skills and to build self-confidence. I will also provide moral and emotional support to any of the students that I tutored. Additionally, I will assess the academic progress of the students through appropriate tests and exams and provide feedback to the school administrators.

Goal for Assist Award Leader-Co-ordinator in Leadership under Voluntary Service Category: Within 12 months, I will increase my leadership skills and mobilise at least 10 teenagers aged between 14-18 to participate in local voluntary service projects by creating awareness via online and offline campaigns, organising regular meetings and increasing participation. I will do this by attending local Leadership workshops and gaining knowledge of successful Volunteer Service Coordination, creating online / offline campaigns that are targeted towards teenagers and organising weekly gatherings to discuss initiatives, educating teenagers on the importance of Voluntary Service and tracking and measuring participation.

Goal for Other in Animal Welfare under Voluntary Service Category for teenagers 14-18 years old: To increase my animal welfare knowledge within 3 months by volunteering with an animal shelter at least twice a week for a minimum of 2 hours per week. I will document my volunteering hours and use the knowledge learned to educate the community about the importance of animal welfare. I will also attend workshops and seminars related to animal welfare to broaden my knowledge and understanding of the issue.

Goal: Within 12 months, I will increase the quality of my environmental awareness by participating in a voluntary cleanup campaign. I will commit to attending the campaign at least twice a month, engaging and educating at least 4 teenagers aged between 14-18 years old each session, while contributing to the local community mission of better environmental stewardship. I will measure my success by evaluating the increase in young people’s knowledge, behaviors and engagement in the cause.

Goal: Increase TV Station’s viewership among 14-18-year-olds by at least 20% within 3 months and implement a system of regular feedback from the audience. To do so, the station will create an online survey for the young audience and run a profitable promotion targeting the age group. The station will analyze the survey results and use the feedback to develop content that better aligns with the interests of the young viewers. The promotion will include paid media spaces such as social media and TV commercials, to reach the target audience.

Goal for Other in Media under Voluntary Service Category: To create a multimedia campaign to promote a cause that is relevant to teenagers aged 14-18 years, and have a minimum of 100 engagements (shares, likes, comments, etc.) within 6 months. To achieve this goal I will attend 3 workshops and spend 10 hours studying online tutorials on how to create multimedia content. I will practice creating multimedia content for 1 hour every day and I will learn basic programming related to creating multimedia content. I will present the campaign at least twice a week by using different social media platforms to promote it.

Goal for Join Local Land Care Group in Environmental under Voluntary Service Category for teenagers 14-18 years old to be achieved within 3 months: To join a local land care group and increase my knowledge of the environment by attending at least one meeting per week within 3 months. I will complete research on the volunteering opportunities available, contact the local land care group with any queries, and attend the meetings with an open mindset and enthusiasm. I will also strive to actively contribute to the group’s volunteering activities at least once a month.
