My goal for Sailing in Expedition under Adventurous Journey Category is to confidently sail a 12-footer sailboat for a minimum of 2 hours within 3 months. I will attend sailing course once a week for 3 hours and practice at home for an additional 2 hours per week. I will meet with a qualified sailing coach or instructor regularly to practice and improve my sailing skills. I will work to perfect all the sailing maneuvers, from tacking and gybing to anchoring and mooring. Once I have achieved this goal, I will also aim to complete a 2-hour sailing journey that includes destinations on both sides of a river, lake or sea.
