My goal for Acoustic Guitar in Musical Instrument under Skills Category is to become proficient in the basics of playing acoustic guitar within 3 months. I will learn the fundamentals of fretboard navigation, strumming and chording, as well as proper guitar technique, by attending a weekly group teacher-led lessons for two hours for at least three months. I will also practice for an additional two hours each week by myself to supplement any classroom instruction and form my own musical path. I will be able to apply the chord progressions, techniques, and tabs that I learned in order to play familiar songs by 3 months.
